Hiya, I’m Lindsay and I am the current Executive Director here at the Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance. What makes this organization so special is that instead of simply teaching government agencies or other organizations bits of traditional ecological knowledge, the TERA crew goes deeper; taking a long-term approach to interacting with the land—less of a top-down, anthropocentric view and more of a kin-centric network of life perspective. Our work is based on generations of being in the same place and observing and being in a relationship with the land. I feel so lucky to be in such a dynamic work environment that allows us to rethink how we as a society can come back to our roots as land-based people.
