Training

TERA's Native Stewards Fellowship is a 140-hour workforce development program that brings together Traditional knowledge with wildfire resilience, vocational skills, and ecocultural land stewardship, preparing individuals for careers stewarding our ancestral lands.

TERA offers EcoCultural Fire Trainings as part of the Lake EcoCultural Cal-TREX to support our community in safely and effectively implementing prescribed and cultural fire.

We also partner with Tribes in Lake and Mendocino Counties to offer custom trainings related to EcoCultural Stewardship.

Stewardship

TERA creates pathways for right livelihood by building the capacity of our people to weave together traditional knowledge with vocational skills that access meaningful careers and healing lifeways in caretaking our ancestral homelands.

TERA's intertribal hand crew provides workforce development and offers services including fuels reduction, prescribed and cultural fire, native seed collection, ecological restoration of wetland, oak, and riparian areas, and invasive species removal.
