Hey there, I’m Alyson and I’m the Operations Manager at the Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance. I have many fond reflections working with TERA. A lot of times when people are prescribed burning, they’re just trying to reduce fuel. They’re just trying to get rid of dead fuel, reduce dead grass and thatch — inherently just addressing wildfire threat. But working here, getting to see the impact cultural burns have, is an even bigger ecological objectives that is tied to lifestyle and food, to ways of life.
